Parameters that were examined included mesomorphic phase, disease course, primary symptoms, tumorlocation, tumor size (cm), peritoneal reflection, tumor circumference, tumor gross type, histological type, grade of tumor differentiation, depth of invasion, N status, total protein levels, ALB levels, FOBT, and serum CEA levels. Univariate and multivariate analyses wereused to evaluate the relevant factors by Binary logistic regression (SPSS 13.0 for windows). Results: Of the 380 cases, 54 (14.2%) cas-es had ovarian metastases. Mesomorphic phase, disease course, primary symptoms, tumor size (cm), tumor circumference, histologicaltype, grade of tumor differentiation, depth of invasion and serum CEA levels were found to be predictors that could affect ovarian me-tastasis in univariate analysis. Mesomorphic phase, primary symptoms, tumor circumference, histological type, grade of tumor differen-tiation, and serum CEA levels were independent risk factors related with colorectal ovarian metastasis in multivariate analysis. Conclu-sion: Mesomorphic phase, primary symptoms, tumor circumference, histological type, grade of tumor differentiation, and serum CEAlevel were the clinicopathologic factors related to ovarian metastasis from colorectal carcinoma. Keywords Colorectal neoplasm; Ovarian metastasis; Univarate analysis; Multivariate analysis
